Street of Beijing opened its doors in 2018, born from a family’s love for Chinese food and a dream to share it with the Edinburgh community. We’re a family-run restaurant rooted in tradition, but with a spirit of openness — blending authentic flavours from across China with the rhythms of modern life.

Our menu is inspired by the places closest to our hearts: the bold spices of Sichuan, the comforting classics of Beijing, and the delicate balance of Guangdong cooking. Many of our recipes come straight from our family kitchen, passed down and lovingly adapted for our guests today.

To us, food is more than a meal — it’s a connection. Between generations, between cultures, between friends around the table. Whether you’re here for a quick lunch or a long dinner with loved ones, we hope you feel the warmth, the care, and the joy that goes into every dish.
